For years we had wanted a front porch, or at least the look of one. The overhang is less than 4 feet deep. Its a tight fit, but in the end, it works well.

414: It took some effort, but we limewashed the front bricks.   Twice.   We had to remove the first try with a powerwasher after realizing it was too yellowish.  We also dug out the existing juniper bush, and started removing the rocks.

418: Cut and installed the re-mesh, mixed and poured the first few bags of sakrete.   I'm mixing these by hand in a wheelbarrow.  Ugggh.

423: The previous owners removed the posts, and the roof had sagged considerably.  We used a floor jack to lift the roof a couple inches to remove the sag.
